American Airlines 24 Hour Cancellation Policy

According to American airlines flight cancellation policy, you can only receive a full refund on your flight tickets if you cancel your tickets within 24 hours of making your reservation. All flight tickets  on American Airlines are applicable to this policy. The cancellation policy also applies to American Airlines Basic Economy fares. Additionally, within 7 to 10 days, you will get the claimed refund amount in your account. If more than 24 hours have passed, American Airlines may charge certain fare charges as a cancellation fee in some cases.
