The LNAT India is an online computer-based exam. The total time for the exam is 2hours and 15 minutes. It consists of two sections: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) based on text passages and an essay writing section.

Section A: The first section consists of Multiple-Choice Questions based upon 12 text passages. There are a total of 42 questions. The time limit is 95 minutes and is the main section that will decide your LNAT score. This section tests your verbal reasoning skills, ability to think, understanding of written material, logic and deductions, and ability to identify the key issue in the passage. Section B: The second section is an essay writing test and tests your ability to balance your arguments. The time limit is 40 minutes, but you don’t get any points for this test. Instead, it will be sent to the universities you applied to, and they will evaluate it.

The average score for the LNAT exam is 20.
