How to Use
The solid silhouette Christmas Tree SVG is a fun element to use in paper and vinyl projects. You can add it to a banner, an embellishment to a mug or even put it on the pocket or sleeve of your holiday shirt. Using patterned vinyl can really make it pop. You could also add names and use it for place cards or coloring pages for the littlest family members.

Another way to use the Christmas tree SVG is by using a stencil and spray paint or strip flock pro to give it a more 3D look. You can also add glitter or holographic to your flat colored design to give it that festive sparkle!

Consider what type of project you’re making before purchasing a cut file. SVG files are designed for specific projects and will work best with your Cricut Maker. They’re also a great way to save time because someone else did the design for you!

Paper Luminaries
For a fun craft that even the youngest kids can make, cut out the tree pieces and then decorate them with fairy lights or stickers. It’s a great project for the whole family to enjoy together.

To create a paper luminary, a strip of glue should be placed along the slit in the bottom circle. Then, fold it over and attach. You can use this as a fun light decoration for your home or to give as gifts.

This layered file has 16 total layers and comes ready to cut. Just upload it into Design Space and click the “Make It” button. If you are using a Cricut Explore or Maker machine, be sure to set your dial to cardstock and choose it from the list of materials. You may also want to ungroup the layers and duplicate some of the larger branches for a taller tree. If you do this, be sure to change the fill color of one of the duplicates.

To embroider the trees, simply follow the outline of the design using a basic straight stitch. For the stem and branches, separate 3 strands of embroidery floss and embroider using a stem stitch. For the pine needles, use a straight stitch as well.
