Climate Change is Real and is Affecting Our Health.
Every few years, another movie is released that reminds us aboutclimate change, sometimes directly like in “The Day After Tomorrow” and sometimes in movies like Netflix’s “Don’t Look Up.” These disaster movies are fun to watch, but they should be scaring us because what we think in fiction is happening. The average temperature of our planet is rising, and we can’t ignore the alarm bells any longer.
Partnerships for impact’s founder, CK Mishra, Former Secretary, Government of India, recently wrote a blog post on this. In the blog post titled “Don’t ignore the alarm bells”, CK Mishra talks about how climate change is and will keep affecting other aspects of lives. If this climate crisis remains unchecked, it will bring the end of life as we know it. We have already seen a rise in water-borne diseases, increasingly toxic air quality, Water shortage, and its disproportionate impact on women.
