In this blog, we will explore new ways to set up, target, and launch an effective ad on YouTube. You already know that there are six different types of YouTube ads. Go to your Google Gmail account. You will see an option that says are you a professional marketer. Click on it. On the dashboard, you will see an option saying “new campaign”. You will see different options. Select video for making a video ad. Select the ad format, enter the name for your campaign, select a campaign budget, and then choose the start and end date for your campaign. Next is to decide where you want your ad to appear. There are three choices, you can choose one. Select your target audience. You can also set up different campaigns depending on different kinds of audiences. Choose the right keywords so that people can find you easily. Now, after setting up everything, you are ready to launch. You need to choose if you want your ad to run as an in-stream or a display ad. If it is a display ad, you have to choose a title and a description. You should analyze and track the performance of each campaign. There are four types. The first one is views and impressions. You will see a views category and this helps you understand what percentage of the ad people viewed and understand how the ad drove those views. The second is an audience. This can be used to track engagement metrics, split up by age, gender, income, parental status, etc. 

There are some awesome tracking capabilities available within the ads that you’re doing so that you could analyze track the performance of each campaign. So there are four main categories and we’re going to go through each one of these. And we recommend that you set up these before paying for views to ensure that you’re making the most out of your budget. Number three is you have a view rate that you can look at. View rate is important to know if the message is interesting or entertaining for people to even look at the ad or to watch the ads. The last is conversions.
