History of Janmasthmi
According to legend, Krishna was born roughly 5500 years ago. He is the eighth child of Devaki as well as Vasudeva from the Yadava family. His birth was not well-liked by Devaki’s brother Kansa. In the epic tale of Narada, Kansa was destined to die at the death of Krishna.
To change the course of events, Kansa decided to kill Krishna. Kansa had killed six children before. In order to protect their children, Vasudeva takes Krishna to Gokul where he is cared for by his foster parents Nanda as well as Yashoda.
