History Of larimar

The stone which has come from the Caribbean is the beautiful and very calming stone called Larimar. It is made with sodium-calcium silicate minerals.

Larimar stone was found by one of the priest’s name Miguel in the year 1974, and then he named the stone on his daughter’s name Larissa using the first four-letter with the word mar, which means water in Spanish as it resembled the colors of the Caribbean sea.

Never use an Ultrasonic cleanser to clean the stone. As the stone is soft, it could be damaged. Moreover, the steam bath can be used to clean the stone. Otherwise, wash it with the regular tap water and wipe it with a cloth.
