How to get a driving license in Karachi
Getting a license in a large and busy city such as Karachi is essential for its citizens so that they can drive in their daily lives with the civic sense required for safe driving. Currently, the most important factor to keep in mind before you go to get your license made is that you must follow the standard SOPs as without these you are unlikely to be allowed to take the test. Before going, the citizens have the option of booking an appointment on the Driver License Sindh (DLS) website to make things easier for them. The foremost important factor before you decide to get your license made is to check whether you are eligible or not. If you are aged 18 or above that means you are eligible. 4 Passport size photographs Original CNIC. Another piece of advice that you should consider before going for your test is to buy the book that has all the traffic signs and other traffic-related details. This booklet is usually available at any store adjacent to or inside the DLS. When you go for the first time they will give you a learner’s license no matter how experienced a driver you are. You will be eligible to get a permanent license till 42 days after the learner’s license has been made. The license that you get will be valid for up to 3-5 years.
