Temporary Residence Permit (TRP, TRC) is an official permit that gives foreigners and stateless persons the right to temporarily reside in Azerbaijan.

A person with a Temporary Residence Permit has the right to live in Azerbaijan during the period its validity. And also can enter the country without a visa requirement. A Temporary Residence Permit  (TRP, TRC) is usually issued for 1 year and can be renewed annually.

Permanent Residence Permit (PR) is a type of permission that allows foreigners and stateless persons to permanently live in Azerbaijan.

Permanent Residence Permit in the Republic of Azerbaijan is not issued permanently as the meaning implies. According to the legislation, a Permanent Residence Permit (PR) is issued for a period of 5 years. And it is possible to extend the duration of the Permanent Residence Permit  (PR) only if the same grounds as its issuance exist.

A Work Permit is a form of permission which gives a right to the foreign individuals to work in Azerbaijan.

Here we are talking about a paid labor activity. In short, foreigners and stateless persons must obtain a Work Permit to work in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan issues a Work Permit.
