Kejriwal urges Center to start procurement from tomorrow
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has reacted to the Centre’s decision to move ahead with paddy procurement. He appealed to the Center to start procurement of paddy as soon as possible. At the same time, he asked Congress to leave the crisis and help the farmers.
Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “Farmers in Punjab are very upset. The Center has postponed the procurement of paddy for 10 days. The farmer is standing outside the mandis with his tractor. The government is urged to start procurement of paddy from tomorrow. Congress should also give up its grievances and help farmers.”
