PTFE Fiberglass Adhesive Tape
Aokai PTFE fiberglass adhesive tape is made of PTFE fiberglass cloth as the base material and then coated with silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive, and its temperature resistance can reach up to 260℃.
The maximum width of fiberglass tape without release paper can be 600mm, and the maximum width of fiberglass tape with release paper can be 1250mm.
According to the actual use scene, glass fiber tape can also be made antistatic (colour: black).
Types Of PTFE Fiberglass Adhesive Tape
PTFE Adhesive Tape for Heat Sealing
The base material of this product is glass fiber cloth impregnated with fluororesin (PTFE) and coated with silica gel adhesive. It has many properties of fluororesin and excellent dimensional stability. The surface of the adhesive tape has a concave convex structure formed by glass fiber cloth.
PTFE Antistatic Black Adhesive Tape
The PTFE anti-static black tape produced by Aokai has a surface resistance value of more than 1012Ω for insulation grade and 106Ω for conductive grade. Both insulating and conductive products meet the corresponding standards.
Guidelines For Affixing PTFE Fiberglass Adhesive Tape
Use a dry cloth or zero-grit sandpaper to clean the roll/strip/sheet/stick etc. to which the tape will be applied.
Remove all dirt, grease, carbon, etc. Gently wipe the surface with a solvent such as acetone, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), etc. and observe that the rollers/rods/sheets/rods, etc. are dry, clean and slightly rough.
Even a small amount of oil or dirt left on the surface can weaken the bond.
Applications Of PTFE Fiberglass Adhesive Tape
Covering tape for sizing cylinders for dyeing machine
Heat sealing tape of plastic films for vacuum sealer and impulse sealer
Laminating sheet for laminating machines
Covering sheet for friction areas of hoppers, chutes and guide rails
Insulation coverings of wire connections.
