Silway 760 is a water-thinnable, solventless emulsion, based on a reactive siloxane. It is a good water repellent for mineral wool materials like: Rock wool ,glass wool.etc with a good compatibility with phenolic resin.

Usage

Based on the glass or rock fiber mass the addition ratio varies between 0,05 and 0,2 weight % for rock wool and 0,1 and 0,3 weight % (always based on the weight of the dried final product) for glass wool. The quantity of Silway760 to be applied also depends on the desired water repellency of the end product; Individual tests must always be conducted in order to define the necessary quantities.
