Inklings
Inklings are the main characters in Splatoon, a team-based shooter from https://www.splatoonplush.com/. The game takes place in the fictional city of Inkopolis, which is located in Japan. Inklings are a race of colorful squids that have evolved from mollusks and developed culture, language and warfare.
The Inklings have a unique ability to change their color at will. This feature is shown on their tentacles, which morph into different colors in battle. For example, Callie’s tentacles have blue cells, while Marie and Pearl have black ones. In addition, Inklings can carry extra weapons in their gear, which can be activated when their ink tanks are full.
The Inklings are characterized as being easy-going and enjoy having fun; they do not seem to care much about the Great Zapfish’s disappearance or the arrival of Octarians to Inkopolis. They also tend to focus on what’s new, referring to themselves as “fresh.” Inklings are known to leave graffiti in the form of pictures, messages and advice, which can be seen all over Inkopolis and on battle stages.
Octolings
Octolings are octopus-like humanoids that can be played as a character in Splatoon. They use the same weapons and subs as Inklings, but can also transform into octopus form to swim faster and cover more ground in octopus form. They have pale greenish skin, dark teal-colored fingertips, and long strands of seaweed hanging off their heads.
Some, but not all, official artwork and in-game models feature playable Octolings with their ends of their fingers tinted in their ink color, as seen on Marina in Splatoon 2 and on some of the enemy Octolings in Salmon Run. Frye also has colored fingertips and toes in Splatfest promotional art.
Splatoon T-Shirt, first introduced in the Octo Expansion DLC for Splatoon 2, have different colors and are able to use specialized subs such as the Autobomb and Burst Bomb. They can be found in the missions Stamp ‘Em Out, Parking Garage, Octoling Assault, Propellerland, and Octoling Workout. They can be upgraded to Elite Octolings with the Ink Tank, Hero Brush, and Hero Dualies, as well as using specials like Splashdown, Tenta Missiles, Inkjet, Sting Ray, and Bomb Launcher (Splat Bomb). They have a similar appearance to normal Octolings, but appear more hygienic due to being sterilized and having their “life’s energies” purged.
Smallfry
Smallfry is an adorable Salmonid that accompanies the player in Splatoon 3. It can be thrown at enemies and destructible objects to damage them or distract them. It can also be used to activate special mechanics, such as Inkrails and Propellers. If it takes too much damage, however, it will be splatted and the player will have to wait for it to respawn.
The Splatoon Sweatshirt version of Smallfry looks just like the character in Splatoon 3, and it has a cute, gawky look that will appeal to fans. It is manufactured by Sanei Boeki, and it has a price tag of around $25.

Little Buddy
Splatoon 3 introduced Little Buddy, the player’s loyal Smallfry companion.
