The working principle of cleanroom filters
Laminar or unidirectional airflow is a way to ensure that air flows in only one direction, thereby reducing the possibility of particles getting kicked around and landing in your cleanroom. In most clean rooms, the air is directed from top to bottom, ensure pushing particles out, and there is no time to land where they shouldn’t. The laminar airflow pushes the air through the filter, thereby removing particles from the air entering your cleanroom.
